Rep. Krueger to hold FAFSA Completion Workshop in April

ASTON, April 3 – State Rep. Leanne Krueger, D-Delaware, will host a FAFSA Completion Workshop at Aston Community Center and Library at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 13.

“Making plans to send your high-school student to college can be stressful and the financial aid process can feel overwhelming,” Krueger said. “We are grateful to have staff from Delaware County Community College available to give professional advice and guidance on completing a FAFSA application.”

The workshop is designed to help students and their parents complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application process and answer any questions. Students and parents are encouraged to come prepared with their Social Security number, 2021 W2s and 2021 1040s if they filed. DCCC staff will be available to help complete forms whether the student is planning to attend this institution or another college or university.

The workshop will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Aston Community Center and Library located at 3270 Concord Road, Aston.

Pre-registration is required and those interested should call Rep. Krueger’s office to schedule at 610-534-6880.

Krueger said interested residents who are unable to make it to this event may also find help from PHEAA, which is offering a FAFSA Overview webinar series to guide students and families through the step-by-step process. More information and registration can be found here.
