RESOURCES FOR SMALL BUSINESSES – COVID-19


STATE:

  • The Department of Labor and Industry has issued guidance for PA employees impacted by COVID-19. Workers who are unable to work because of COVID-19 may be eligible for Unemployment Compensation benefits or Workers Compensation benefits. Information is now available on the department's website:

  • The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) has created a resource page to assist businesses impacted by COVID-19 at

    This page will be updated as information is released by the Governor and programs or funding to assist businesses become available. The site contains links to various agencies, departments, and authorities that can assist small businesses.

    DCED has also a set-up a customer service number, 1-866-466-3972, as well as a COVID-19 specific e-mail address where businesses can send questions: ra-dcedcs@pa.gov
     
  • The Wolf Administration is working with the General Assembly to make sure state funding is available for small business assistance. Small businesses can apply through the Small Business First Fund (SBD), an existing PIDA loan program. More information is available at www.dced.pa.gov/PID
