Free Tax Assistance or Free Tax Filing
Community Action Agency of Delaware County
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, all services will be ONLY Virtual/Drop-Off filing method. There is no in-office tax preparation this year. All services will be done by IRS trained and certified community volunteers and will aim to serve families who qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit and the Child Tax Credit.

Drop-off sites include:

- Sharon Hill Commons – 401 Sharon Ave., Sharon Hill, PA 19079
- Upper Darby Municipal Building – 100 Garrett Road, Upper Darby, PA 19082

There are 3 different pathways residents can select for their filing needs.
MyPath- state taxes only, free for most individuals.
E-file for Free- State and Federal taxes using creditkarma as their vendor. Free to qualifying individuals.
E-file for a Fee- Using commercial tax prep software from reputable vendors.

Has information & forms for people who need assistance to file taxes (without a fee). There is a VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) locator which currently does not list any services in the DelCo area.
