HATFIELD, Aug. 14 – State Rep. Steve Malagari, D-Montgomery, will host a free shredding event from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19.
The event will take place at the Hatfield Elementary School, 1701 Fairgrounds Road.
Residents may bring up to three bags of documents containing personal information. Electronics, TVs, and monitors will not be accepted.
“My free shredding event is a great opportunity for residents to declutter their homes and safely dispose of personal information in an environmentally friendly way,” Malagari said. “Shredding your personal documents is one of the best ways to ensure that your confidential and sensitive information is properly disposed of, and your information is not used for malicious purposes. I invite and encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity and help keep our community safe and green.”
