Erie Police Athletic League (PAL) Ball

|
The Erie PAL Ball was an outstanding event, and we are incredibly fortunate to have law-enforcement officers dedicated to supporting and mentoring our youth.
Through our partnership with Lt. Gov. Austin Davis, we have successfully secured $250,000 in funding to sustain Erie PAL for the coming years. This vital investment will ensure that our community's young people continue to benefit from the valuable programs and support provided by Erie PAL.
I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to all the law-enforcement officers and benefactors who contribute to the success of Erie PAL. Your dedication and generosity are truly making a difference in the lives of our youth.

Meeting with PSEA Advocates in Edinboro
|
|
|
Last Thursday evening, I had the pleasure of joining state Reps. Pat Harkins and Jacob Banta for a meeting with representatives from the Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA) in Edinboro.
We engaged in an enlightening and dynamic discussion, addressing the myriad challenges faced by educators today, and exploring the financial landscape for the 2025-2026 state budget.
The meeting was both productive and inspiring, leaving me optimistic about the collaborative steps we can take to support our educators and enhance our education system.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security will begin enforcement of REAL ID requirements beginning May 7. This means that to board a domestic flight, enter a military base or a federal facility that requires identification at the door, you will need a REAL ID unless you have a U.S. passport, military ID or other federally acceptable identification.
To help ensure residents in our area can secure a REAL ID by the deadline, PennDOT will open its Erie Driver License Center at 7200 Peach St., Suite 480, on the following Mondays: March 3, April 14 and May 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
If you have any questions concerning REAL ID, visit PennDOT.pa.gov/REALID or contact one of our offices.
