Celebrating Labor in Erie

I’m deeply honored to have served as emcee for this year’s Erie Labor Day Parade alongside my colleagues, state Representatives Harkins and Bizzarro. Together, we had the privilege of recognizing the courageous men and women of organized labor who tirelessly advocate for good working conditions, accessible health care, and secure retirement benefits.

Their commitment to dignity on the job and economic fairness uplifts families across our Commonwealth. As we march forward, we remain dedicated to supporting policies that strengthen collective bargaining, protect workplace safety, and ensure every worker can thrive.

Celebrating Agriculture at the Wattsburg Erie County Fair

We had a blast at the Wattsburg Erie County Fair this weekend! Agriculture is Pennsylvania’s number one industry, and we’re incredibly proud of the part Erie County and Northwest Pennsylvania play in delivering fresh, quality food and products to our citizens.

Our local farms and agribusinesses drive economic growth, support family livelihoods, and strengthen food security across the Commonwealth.

Celebrating Grandparents Day at the Erie Zoo

As summer winds down, we capped it off in style at Grandparents Day at the Erie Zoo! It was an unforgettable afternoon exploring the animal exhibits, connecting with so many Erie families, and honoring the incredible grandparents who help make our community thrive.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello—your energy and warmth truly made the day special. We’re already looking forward to next year’s celebration!

Shop Smarter for 2026 Health Coverage

Health insurers are requesting significant increases for 2026. It’s important to shop for plans that meet both your budget and health needs.

The Pennsylvania Insurance Department is hosting free, in-person informational sessions across PA to help Pennsylvanians prepare for Open Enrollment.

Find a session near you, get your questions answered, and make sure you choose the best plan for 2026 before enrollment begins.

The Municipal Election on November 4 will be here before you know it! Don’t miss the voter registration deadline of October 20. Make sure you’re registered.

Click here to find your local polling place. If it’s your first time voting at a new polling place, you will need to show a photo ID to cast your ballot.

If voting in person doesn’t fit your schedule, Pennsylvania also offers safe and secure Vote-By-Mail options. Once you apply, your ballot will be sent to your home. You can fill it out and either drop it in a mailbox – make sure to allow at least a week for delivery – or return it in person to your county election office. Get all the details on mail-in voting here.

We want to make sure every eligible voter can cast their ballot and be heard in every election.
