We’re pleased to announce two major funding announcements that together bring over $7.4 million to Erie County to strengthen infrastructure, create jobs, expand services, and revitalize neighborhoods.
First, more than $2.98 million from the Commonwealth Financing Authority has been awarded to support local projects across Erie County. These investments will improve water service, modernize community venues, upgrade municipal equipment, and expand access to transitional housing and recreation.
In addition, more than $4.5 million is coming to our county to fund 30 projects that will create jobs, revitalize neighborhoods, expand food access, strengthen healthcare, and support small businesses. I’m proud to partner with Representatives Ryan Bizzarro and Pat Harkins to deliver these results for every corner of Erie.
Together, these awards invest in our community’s safety, health, and economic opportunity. I’ll continue working with local leaders and my colleagues in Harrisburg to ensure these funds are put to work efficiently and transparently.
