Honored with Legislator of the Year award

Thank you to The Pennsylvania School Counselors Association for naming me the Legislator of the Year for 2025. I am incredibly honored and will continue to fight for our public schools.

Applications are now open for the Summer 2026 Pennsylvania House of Representatives Legislative Fellowship Program! This fellowship is based in the Pennsylvania State Capitol in Harrisburg and offers a unique opportunity for college students to gain hands-on experience in state government.

Fellows are placed in House Committees or House Leadership offices and receive compensation for their work, which may also include college credit. Participants will have the opportunity to draft and present legislation, attend meet-and-greets with public officials and staff, and tour some of the Commonwealth’s historic public spaces.

The Summer Semester will run from Thursday, June 4 through Thursday, Aug. 6.

$1.31 million secured for infrastructure

This week, I was proud to announce that $1.31 million in state grants were approved for five local infrastructure projects by the Commonwealth Financing Authority.

The improvements that will be made possible by these grants are vitally important for each municipality that is receiving funding. I am glad to have played a part in securing these dollars from the CFA for Stroudsburg, East Stroudsburg and the Pocono Mountains Industrial Park Authority.

My office can help you!

My team and I stand ready to assist you on a range of state-related programs.

For help, or to speak with me or a staff member about an issue, please don't hesitate to contact my office at (570) 420-2850 or visit us at 18 S. 9th St. in Stroudsburg.

Around the District

I was honored to attend East Stroudsburg University’s Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast. It was a meaningful opportunity to reflect on Dr. King’s legacy and recommit to the work of justice, equality, and service to our communities.

Happy birthday to a very special 100 year old, Ms. Gwendolyn Turner! What a story, what a life, and what a legacy. I am honored to know her and let me tell you -- she is beautiful inside and out.

We recently celebrated America250, Monroe County Pennsylvania, and the Semiquincentennial events coming up. Being in the Pennsylvania House representing our area is an honor of a lifetime and I enjoy helping with everyone's needs. PA is the birthplace of democracy and I am a proud 5th generation Monroe County native.

Congratulations on 100 years to The Pocono Mountains Association of Realtors. I loved celebrating all of you and thank you for all of your hard work for our community.
