Probst, MyCIL to offer monthly disability outreach program

HARRISBURG, Jan. 26 – A monthly outreach program offered by state Rep. Tarah Probst, D-Monroe/Pike, in conjunction with the Center for Independent Living, is designed to help people living with disabilities maximize their independence.

Starting Feb. 1 and continuing the 1st Wednesday of every month at Probst’s Stroudsburg office, a representative from MyCIL will be available to help people with disabilities. MyCIL assists people with services designed to maximize their independence, including securing transportation, housing, home and community-based services and more.

“This new outreach program is just another way that my office can help people access local, county and state services that are best suited to their needs,” said Probst, D-Monroe/Pike. “I hope anyone who needs help will take advantage of the expert assistance offered by the Center for Independent Living.”
