Sappey to host virtual discussion on stormwater management and the environment, infrastructure and property damage

KENNETT SQUARE, March 5State Rep. Christina Sappey, D-Chester, invites residents of the 158th Legislative District to attend her virtual panel discussion on Stormwater Management, the Environment, Infrastructure, and Property Damage at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 11.

“Across Pennsylvania, more frequent strong storms have had significant impact on our environment and infrastructure. Local governments and property owners alike are dealing with damage to personal property and shared infrastructure,” Sappey said. “I hope people will join us to learn about how we can better prepare for these worsening storms and work to reduce the damage they cause.”

Panelists for this discussion include:

  • Michael Callahan, stormwater program manager of Derry Township Municipal Authority.
  • Molly Deger, engineer of Chester County Conservation District.
  • John Krafcyzk, assistant district executive for maintenance of PennDOT Engineering District 6.
  • Ramsey Reiner, township manager of New Garden Township.
