Calling all current 10th and 11th graders living in Schuylkill, Tredyffrin, Easttown, and Willistown Townships - do you want the chance to join other PA students in Philadelphia for an historical day?
On September 9th, Representative Shusterman will welcome 1 student from the 157th as the House of Representatives honors and celebrates America's 250th birthday by holding a PA House Session in Congress Hall.
Students will participate in a full day civic learning experience in Philadelphia, to include: opportunities to engage with public officials and civic leaders, learn more about Pennsylvania's government and America's history, as well as participate in celebrations for America's birthday. Lunch, dinner, and a dessert reception will be provided for students.
NOTE: The selected student must be accompanied to Philadelphia on Sep. 9th by a parent who will be required to sign the student in at check-in and out at the conclusion of the program. This requirement applies to all students, including those who are 18 years old. Parents and guardians will not participate in scheduled programming. To be eligible to be selected, students must be enrolled in 11th or 12th grade in September 2026 AND also reside in Rep. Shusterman’s House District 157 (the townships of Schuylkill, Tredyffrin, Easttown and Willistown).
