JUSTICE FOR SURVIVORS

DEMAND CHILDHOOD SEXUAL ABUSE SURVIVORS GET THE JUSTICE THEY DESERVE

Survivors of decades-old child sexual abuse deserve to have their day in court and achieve justice against their abusers.

In 2018, the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office released a report providing the evidence for what we already knew thanks to brave survivors who spoke out: Over 70 years, thousands of Pennsylvania children were sexually abused by clergy within the Catholic church.

Sadly, many of these survivors have not been able to get the justice they deserve due to a statute of limitations that protects child predators and abusers.

Rep. Mark Rozzi has been fighting for justice for these survivors for years. Please join us in demanding it be brought up for a vote with no other issues attached potentially delaying passage even longer and allow survivors of serial sexual abusers their day in court.

Your message will be sent to:
Speaker of the House Mark Rozzi; Majority Leader Joanna McClinton; Representative Bryan Cutler; Senator Jay Costa; Senator Kim Ward; Your Representative; Your Senator.

Subject line:
GIVE CHILDHOOD SEXUAL ABUSE VICTIMS THEIR CHANCE AT JUSTICE

Email Body:

Survivors of childhood sexual abuse at the hands of predators have waited long enough. They deserve a chance at justice for those that robbed them of their childhood and left so many struggling with a lifetime of pain and guilt.

Plain and simple: Survivors deserve justice.

Protect the survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Ensure those who prey on children face justice.

Finish the job and bring this bill up for a vote without anything else attached to it.

There’s no need to wait. This issue has been before the legislature for years. The evidence exists showing decades upon decades of childhood sexual abuse.

Stop protecting sexual abusers and allow survivors of childhood sexual abuse the justice they deserve.
