Recognizing the value of higher education, Pa. state Rep. Tarik Khan is working to keep tuition affordable at state-related universities like Penn State, Temple, Pitt, and Lincoln. That’s why Khan and his colleagues in the House Democratic Caucus voted to fund these schools. Unfortunately, House Republicans aligned to block state funding, leaving many parents, students and faculty unsure of their futures.
