Hospitality Industry Recovery Program application window opens Friday

There was an inversed date in Tuesday’s weekly e-newsletter I want to correct.

This is of particular interest to those in the bar and restaurant industry whose business has been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The application window for the #MontcoStrong 2021 Pennsylvania Hospitality Industry Recovery Program opens THIS FRIDAY, MARCH 12.

If you’re an interested applicant looking for assistance on the process, the county’s commerce director, David Zellers, walks you through the process in this helpful video.

I also wanted to highlight another resource that could be helpful: the Small Business Administration has Economic Injury Disaster Loans available to assist companies struggling through the pandemic.

This is for small-business owners, including agricultural businesses and nonprofit organizations across the United States. Loan details, eligibility and more for the EIDL program are available through the SBA’s site.
