Williams announces funding for Valley Township, Caln Township Municipal Authority

HARRISBURG, Dec. 19 – State Rep. Dan Williams today announced nearly $900,000 in funding for Valley Township and the Caln Township Municipal Authority through the PA Small Water and Sewer grant program.

Valley was awarded $393,300 to resolve stormwater drainage issues along Route 30 located in Valley Township.

Caln Township Municipal Authority was awarded $498,958 for the installation of a sewer main along Granger Lane and Caln Meeting House Road.

“Creating and maintaining infrastructure is one of the core functions of government,” Williams said. “The state’s funding of these projects is a great investment for our communities and taxpayers.”

The grant program funds activities to assist with the construction, improvement, expansion, or rehabilitation or repair of a water supply system, sanitary sewer system, storm sewer system, or flood control projects.

Williams represents the 74th Legislative District comprised of Atglen, Coatesville, Honey Brook Borough, Honey Brook Township, Modena, Parkesburg, Sadsbury, South Coatesville, Valley, West Caln, West Sadsbury and districts 1, 2 and 3 of Caln in Chester County.
