Williams: $200,000 secured for South Coatesville Borough municipal manager position

HARRISBURG, Dec. 2 – A $200,000 grant from the Department of Community and Economic Development will fund the creation of a full-time municipal manager position for South Coatesville Borough, state Rep. Dan Williams announced today.

Williams helped secure the grant from the Strategic Management Planning Program and said it will assist with the salary and benefits for the position.

“Thanks to this funding, our local government’s ability to provide smoother and more efficient services will be enhanced,” Williams said. “These funds will be used to create a position that supports local growth and improves living right here in South Coatesville Borough.

“It’s always rewarding to see public investment in our local communities.”
