Lifeline Scholarship Programs

The biggest issue in this year’s Budget negotiations is the issue of School Choice, in other words, should taxpayer money be used for children to attend private schools?

This program would give between $2,500 - $15,000 per year in state-funded vouchers for eligible students to attend private schools. It’s important to note that this 100 million dollar school voucher would take money away from public schools.
