Rep.-elect Curry announces date for swearing-in ceremony

HARRISBURG, Dec. 8 – State Rep.-elect Gina. H. Curry will take the oath of office at noon on Monday, Dec. 13 at the state Capitol in Harrisburg. House session can be watched live online at www.pahouse.com/live.

“I am looking forward to begin my work representing the people of the 164th District,” Curry said. “I am honored to have the opportunity to fight for equity and accessibility for all residents in my district.”

Curry won a special election held in November.

Prior to her election, Curry served as the Upper Darby School Board vice president. She has more than 20 years of experience working with youth and families.

Curry’s legislative priorities in Harrisburg will include education fairness and accessibility, affordable housing and economic development.

The 164th Legislative District includes Upper Darby Township, East Lansdowne, Lansdowne, Millbourne and Yeadon.

Her district office is open now with a limited staff. It’s located at 1500 Garrett Road, Suite G, Upper Darby, PA 19082.
