UPPER DARBY, Nov. 18 – State Rep. Gina H. Curry, D-Delaware, will partner with Peace Island to hold a Thanksgiving Turkey Assistance on Monday, Nov. 21.
Pre-registration is required; there is a very limited quantity of turkeys available. Please call (610) 259-7016 by Monday, Nov. 21 to RSVP.
“Thanksgiving is a time to spend with families and make lasting memories, but we must remember that it can also be stressful and difficult for the most vulnerable members of our community, especially those who experience food insecurity,” Curry said. “I am happy to partner with Peace Island to play a small role is assisting those in need this holiday.”
Information will be available on state programs and services for constituents, including food assistance. Curry’s staff will also be on site to answer questions about state-related issues.
