A memorable holiday gathering

Dear Neighbor,

Last night, my staff and I held our annual Holiday Meet & Greet in my district office.

This is one of my favorite events to do because I get to meet face to face with my neighbors. Of course, you can approach me at any of our events – but the holiday party is more intimate. Over coffee, hot chocolate, and plenty of sweets, you have two hours of my undivided attention. We talk about politics, sure, but also sports, the last vacation you took, or the funny thing your dog did on his morning walk.

This event is an opportunity for residents of the 162nd District to come in from the cold and enjoy some holiday cheer. But it’s also an opportunity for me to hear your questions and concerns, to know the kinds of struggles that you’re dealing with every day.

We had a good turnout this year, including some borough council members from Prospect Park and Ridley Park. These are bright young people who really care about our communities. I’m already looking forward to next year’s party.

As a reminder, the donation period for our Diaper Drive and Toys for Tots has now closed. Huge thanks to all contributed.

Property Tax/Rent Rebate forms

We have 2024 Property Tax/Rent Rebate booklets. Just ask my staff at either of our district offices in Ridley Park or Darby Township. As a reminder, my staff is happy to assist you with the rebate application process. Applications for a rebate on what you paid in 2024 are due by Dec. 31.
