Holiday Hours, Pet Meet & Greet, Wreaths Across America, and more…

(Dec 19, 2024)

Wreaths Across America’s mission is to remember our fallen heroes, honor those who served or are serving our country, and teach children the value of freedom. Each year, I am honored to be asked to the Wreaths Across America event at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. This year’s theme was “Live With a Purpose” and was held this past Saturday in Jonestown, PA. As this year marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of the Bulge, Pennsylvania’s WWII veterans were the special guests. Being able to honor veterans in such a special way will always hold a big place in my heart. Read more

Senior Resource Fair, Daylight Saving Time Ends, Harrisburg Happenings, and more…

(Oct 29, 2024)

I was proud to be a co-sponsor on Rep. Joe Ciresi’s legislation which prohibits cable TV, cellular, and other telecommunications companies, utility companies, and Voice over Internet Protocol companies from charging early termination fees because the individual died before the contract was complete. Dealing with the loss of a loved one is difficult enough, much less worrying about paying a fee to break a contract that will no longer be used. Read more
