HARRISBURG, Jan. 8 – Due to next week’s Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, state Rep. Jeanne McNeill will hold her monthly veterans’ assistance on Jan. 22.
“It is always great to see veterans in my community meet with the veterans’ outreach specialist and get help with resources that will continue to benefit them,” said McNeill. “With the new year here, there is no better time for veterans to come out and learn what is available to them regarding state programs.”
A veterans’ outreach specialist conducts monthly hours at her district office located at 1080 Schadt Ave. in Whitehall. The visit typically occurs on the third Monday of each month but is delayed a week this month due to the upcoming holiday.
Appointments with the outreach specialist are available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 22. Those interested in meeting with the specialist should make an appointment by calling (610) 266-1273.
