McNeill helps secure $155K in funding for two Catasauqua institutions

CATASAUQUA, Aug. 27 – State Rep. Jeanne McNeill announced today that $155,000 was awarded for two upgrade projects in the 133rd Legislative District.

The Public Library of Catasauqua received $100,000 to make general improvements and repairs, including repairs to the front stairs and measures to prevent water infiltration.

Additionally, $55,000 was allocated to Catasauqua American Legion Post 215 for renovations and upgrades to its boiler and HVAC systems, as well as improvements to ensure the post is ADA-compliant.

“These investments will help ensure two important community institutions can continue serving residents for years to come,” said McNeill. “From making needed repairs at the library to improving the Legion’s facilities and accessibility, these projects will help keep both locations in good condition and provide safe, accessible spaces for residents.”
