Gun Violence Prevention Forum

Next Thursday, July 16, I will host a Gun Violence Prevention Forum alongside CeaseFire PA.

This event is an opportunity for our community to come together to discuss gun violence prevention solutions and future legislation, with a focus on youth violence prevention programs. The forum will include panels with community leaders and my fellow state Representatives.

Gun violence is a public health crisis, and it is preventable.

Join us Thursday, July 16 from 10 AM to 11:30 AM at the Anna Mae Hays Elementary School Gymnasium, 1227-1243 W. Gordon St. in Allentown.

Did you lose food purchased with SNAP benefits due to the storm?

Over the July 4th weekend, many households in Lehigh County were left without power.

For any SNAP households who lost food due to power outages or flooding, replacement SNAP benefits may be available. Contact the Lehigh County Assistance Office 1-877-223-5956 or the Statewide Customer Service Center at 1-877-395-8930.

Replacement affidavit forms are available at your local CAO. You can also download the form here. Fill out the form to record how much food was lost.

Upload the completed form to COMPASS or the myCOMPASS PA mobile app. You can also turn the form in to your local CAO.

Please note, you must submit this form within 10 days of when the storm occurred.
