Nearly $1M in Violence Prevention Funding Going to 3 Community Organizations

Congratulations to Community of Compassion Inc., The Common Place and Rising Hope for Change Inc. for being selected for Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP) grants. These great local organizations are receiving nearly $1 million from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency’s School Safety and Security Committee. VIP grants are awarded to organizations to address community violence, including gun, interpersonal, and domestic violence.
