Farmers Market Nutrition Program for Seniors opening June 3

Bucks County Veterans Affairs wins $10K grant to expand services; Low-interest loans available for home-energy upgrades

Local Police Memorial Week ceremonies scheduled for May 16

National Women's Health Week begins May 8 -- Mother's Day; and DEP begins 2016 ozone forecasting

PennDOT, Turnpike expanding 70 mph zones; Safer left turn signals coming to Pa.

Rep. Tina Davis reports that starting May 3, 396 additional miles of the turnpike and 400 additional miles of certain PennDOT highways will be converted to 70 mph. However, areas of the turnpike now posted at 55 mph will remain at 55 mph, including the seven-mile stretch east of the Bensalem Interchange in Bucks County. Also, PennDOT is implementing a new type of traffic signal to -- flashing yellow arrows -- to replace the circular green indicators for left turns at signalized intersections. Read more

 

PA CARE -- family caregiver measure – signed into law
